Plastic Change

The environmental organization Plastic Change, founded by Henrik Beha Pedersen, can take a large part of the credit for the fact that plastic pollution and the consumption of single-use plastics have come so high on the agenda in Denmark. Plastic Change was founded in 2014, when the organization launched a series of scientific expeditions to the plastic soups in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans to document and make visible the extent of the problem.
